Approved service supplier for DNV

Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has found that SolidTech meet the requirements for carrying out non destructive testing (NDT) UTM of hull on offshore projects and offshore units/components according to their Approval programme No. 402B and A
- In order to provide such services to customers having components/structures which have or will have DNV classification the company needs to be approved by the class society, tells Operations Manager, Morten Borøchstein.
The objective of the approval programme is to ensure the supplier is using appropriate procedures, has qualified and certified personnel toghether with a sufficient quality management system. SolidTech will be using this recognition when it comes to services in connection with renewal and intermediate surveys on semi submersible drillingrigs.
